when today ends, change is coming
in three sleeps – a new job
no more long commutes – horns honking
fighting traffic, wasting time in traffic
instead a shorter, less stressful drive
closer to home, closer to family
new career challenges too; shifting focus
miss what i do now? certainly
yet looking forward to new opportunities
yes change is coming; i’m ready

we did that last year. for my husband. he did a 1 hour commute each way across the city. and then we had a baby and we said enough of that. 😉

I’m excited for you, Mel! New friends to make, new things to learn and more time for those you love.
In three sleeps — I just love anticipating something like a little kid would.
