I might have something to say
I might keep my mouth shut
Teetering on possibilities either which way
If I provide the suggestion gently,
Such as ‘You might want to…’
Or present an idea for consideration
‘She might be late because of…’
Or skip straight to the point
‘I might lose it any second!’
No matter the context conditionally set
It’s safe to say I might…[?]

Today there are so many things
I might say. Like you I’m
not sure how to say them.

I think it’s safe to assume
we all have something to say.
Not saying it is the hardest,
right?

Saying MIGHT is safer than declaring.
But some things? Dreams, goals? Declare!

Knowing when to speak and when to keep our mouths shut — something I might bungle now and again.
