how the past and the present
connect is an interesting landscape, divided
not by time or memory, but
by action and experience. framed, frozen
or kept perpetually in motion. painting
a canvas of thoughts, feelings. morphed
into a kaleidoscope world where you
make choices to relive or live!
a process of being – of seeing.
if you are what you are
from what was, ask yourself. decide.
what will i choose to become?

So much of our past and present shapes who we are, but the future is not set in stone. We must choose to move towards what we want to be. I’m working on that. 🙂
I totally free-formed this poem so no idea if it makes sense. What do you take from it?

Beautiful ~ I love the notion of making the choice to relive or live. That’s a mind-changing catch phrase … you know, for moments when I’m stuck emotionally and want to be unstuck. Great message of accepting what is/has been and making choices to shape what comes next!

I think it’s great.we have a great deal of choice in how our future will play out. and it’s just kaleidoscopy enough to fit your theme. 🙂

Can we choose what to take with us into the future, and what to leave behind? Or are we always a swirl of what was, moving forward into what will be? I’m a kaleidoscope of questions, most of the time.

I love that you present living and reliving as a choice; it’s so easy to forget!

Our choices do color our futures. Of that there is no doubt. Thanks for this reminder.
